Cooper MK8 J.A.P – Drive Hub

The Cooper Mk. Mk8 was originally built in 1954 as a Formula 3 racing car, the JAP-engined variants where and still are used by drivers to compete in historic 500cc classes, sprints and hillclimb venues such as Shelsley, Prescott, Goodwood etc.

After a catastrophic failure of a driveshaft/hub Steve contacted us to discuss a replacement. Machined from a solid piece of EN30B we manufactured a new one-piece driveshaft /hub.

Currently driven by Jon and Steve Lawrence the car is powered by a 500cc Speedway J.A.P. 4B running on Methanol fuel.
