Each year UBRacing design and manufacture a new car which we take to compete against other universities at Silverstone. Over the years they have competed in every FSUK competition since its inception, as well as many international competitions.
In 2021 UBRacing transitioned to having an electric powertrain. Hence the powertrain department became responsible for getting the power from the battery to the wheels which entailed re-designing all of the drivetrain components, including new custom made driveshafts provided by Brand Engineering.
